Llega
otro de los momentos cumbre de los Oscar, el anuncio de los nominados a los
Globos de Oro, los mal llamados “antesala de los Oscar”, cuando los Globos son
concedidos por la prensa extranjera en Hollywood y los otros por la Academia.
Sería como comparar los Feroz con los Goya. El hecho de que los Globos tengan
categorías separadas para comedia y drama los hace más ecuánimes y justos, y
los distancia aún más de los Oscar. Pero aquí están, en la carrera al Oscar, ya
que es un paso importante hacia la estatuilla, si bien los ganadores de estos
premios no suelen coincidir con los escogidos por los académicos.
Este año “Boyhood”
y “Birdman” van a la cabeza, ambas en categorías distintas para que puedan
repartirse el pastel. El hecho de tener categorías distintas para drama y
comedia permite que actores como Ralph Fiennes, Bill Murray, Amy Adams, Joaquin
Phoenix o Christoph Waltz, ausentes todos ellos de los SAG, entren en la lista.
Sorpresa, eso sí, la de ver a Julianne Moore como actriz de comedia por “Maps
to the stars”, o que Jessica Chastain consiga colarse como secundaria en lugar
de Naomi Watts –a la única diferencia con respecto a los SAG-, justo lo
contrario a lo ocurrido en los SAG. Además, la presencia de directores como Wes
Anderson o Ava DuVernay –en detrimento de habituales como Clint Eastwood o
Bennett Miller- y de pelis como “Selma” o “Big Eyes”, que ya veremos con qué
fuerza llegan a los Oscar. A continuación, la lista de nominados. Los ganadores
se sabrán el próximo 11 de enero.
